Hello!  I am so glad that you are visiting "Ruthie's Rags" on-line shop!  I opened the original store in Portland Oregon six years ago and it was a lot of fun,  it closed June 31st!   Now we are on-line to offer all fellow fabricaholics the same great fabrics that you loved in the original store and know that you have got to add them your collection.

I have always been inspired by color and texture in my sewing and creating.  I hope you will find our selection of natural fabrics interesting and inspiring.   The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.  I think sewing is a fantastic art form.  It is fun, fulfilling and cheap form of therapy!
